Our research investigates how people differ in the ways they experience and represent their thoughts, whether through inner speech, visual imagery, or other mental formats, and how these differences affect how we process information. We also study how sensory experiences, such as the way we link sounds and visual information, influence memory and attention, and how language access and modality shape cognitive control.
By studying these variations across individuals and contexts, we aim to better understand how the mind works - and why it works differently for different people.
